So Clip adopts a minimalist design without complex interactive interface and disturbing advertisement. What you need to do is just “copy” - “paste”.

Privacy and protection.

Hash salt encryption is adopted in Clip to keep your account secure in our servers; it also uses SSL/TLS to encrypt links to secure the transfer of your clipboard content over the Internet. Because of the irreversible nature of the algorithm, your account information is not accessible to anyone, including us.

Frequently Asked Questions and Answers

Why can’t I use Copy and Paste directly on iOS devices?

Due to the restriction of iOS and iPadOS, you need to start Clip after copying the text or before pasting the text. To simplify this step, we recommend adding Clip into the Today widget. Then you can slide to “Today” instead of starting Clip.

What platforms does Clip support? Does it support in-platform synchronization?

Currently, Clip supports Apple iOS and Microsoft Windows, but not Android. It supports both cross-platform synchronization and in-platform synchronization.

What types of data sync does Clip support?

Applied to plain text synchronization, Clip can be used in updating large amounts of text data at a time and supporting common paragraph formats. It does not support photos, music, and other file formats currently.

Can I close my account?

Yes, you can. To deactivate your account and delete all data, please contact us. When you apply to deactivate your account, please provide us with your username, password, and your exact time of cutting and pasting data as much as possible to allow us to confirm your identity.
